Communications Director, Non-Profit Organization (Hong Kong)

Job Responsibilities

Based in Hong Kong.

Our client is a well known Non-Profit Organization in Hong Kong. Their aim is to promote the long term prospect of Hong Kong through Public Policy Research, Analysis, and Recommendation.

 

·         Lead the communications team to produce quality output.

 

·         Collaborate with other departments to ensure meeting tight deadlines

 

·         Provide high level of insights about communications in different aspects including strategy, through leadership building, media relations as well as issues and crisis management

 

·         Coordinate between vendors and internal project team

 

·         Responsible for the communications strategy, implementation of CEC plans to achieve organization goals.

 

·         Develop company's communications management systems and work practices

 

·         Manage and motivate communications team, as well as contributing to overall company development as a member of the senior management team

 



Requirements

Based in Hong Kong

 

·         Degree holder with at least 8 years of relevant experience in journalism, corporate communications or PR agency, preferably in a leading international company

 

·         Able to lead, plan and handle projects independently; solid relationship and experience with media. Solid understanding of social media platforms is also beneficial

 

·         Able to multi-task in a fast paced environment and work to meet tight deadlines

 

·         Familiar with supporting senior executives and you have excellent copywriting and editorial skill in English & Chinese

 

·         Highly creative, mature, well organized with analytical ability, strong presentation and interpersonal skills are essential

 

·         Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)
