Job Description
The client is a regional retail company with its Asia-Pacific headquarters located in Hong Kong. The Finance Head is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Assistant Finance Manager to join the Group Finance team. Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting:Â Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with HK/PRC accounting standards.
Budgeting and Forecasting:Â Support the budgeting and forecasting process, providing detailed financial analysis and insights to senior management.
Tax Compliance:Â Ensure compliance with local taxation regulations, including the preparation and submission of tax returns.
Group Consolidation:Â Assist in the consolidation of financial statements for the group, ensuring consistency and accuracy across all entities.
Audit Coordination:Â Liaise with external auditors and provide necessary documentation and support for audit activities.
System Management:Â Utilize Oracle Hyperion or similar financial systems for financial reporting and analysis.
Process Improvement:Â Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in financial management.
Team Collaboration:Â Work closely with other finance team members and cross-functional teams to support overall financial goals and initiatives.
Requirements
Certification:Â Qualified Member of HKICPA or equivalent.
Experience:Â 5-10 years of working experience in accounting, preferably within local conglomerates or large international companies.
Audit Experience:Â Candidates with some experience from audit companies are welcome (i.e a mix of background from Audit and End-users)
Technical Skills:Â Proficient in Oracle Hyperion or similar financial systems.
Language Skills:Â Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese.
Knowledge:Â Strong understanding of HK/PRC accounting standards and taxation preferred.
Communication Skills:Â Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with senior management and external auditors.
Analytical Skills:Â Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
