Job Description

The client is a FMCG Electrical Appliance product brand. The hiring manager is seeking a skilled Corporate Communication Manager to join the regional marketing team in Singapore, reporting to the Department Head in Korea, to drive overall communication strategy and enhance the brand presence in Asia.


Job Description: As the Corporate Communication Manager in Singapore/SEA, you will play a crucial role in managing internal and external communications to support the business objectives and maintain our brand’s reputation in SEA region. You will be responsible for crafting and executing comprehensive communication strategies that align with our company values and goals.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective internal and external communication strategies to enhance brand visibility and reputation.

  • Manage media relations, including drafting press releases, coordinating press conferences, and handling media inquiries.

  • Create and oversee internal communications to ensure consistent messaging and employee engagement.

  • Collaborate with various departments to gather information and create compelling content for newsletters, reports, and presentations.

  • Monitor media coverage and manage the company’s public image by addressing any negative publicity or crisis situations.

  • Support the organization of corporate events, shareholder meetings, and other public engagements.

  • Provide strategic communication counsel to senior management and other key stakeholders.

  • Liaise with the Department Head in Korea to ensure alignment with the regional and global communication strategy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related Business field.

  • At least 6-10 years of experience in Corporate communications role, ideal within the FMCG or home appliance industry (will also consider candidates from other fast-moving high volume industry) (Can also consider candidates from a mix of background gained from Comm. Agency and End-Users environment)

  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful communication strategies.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (Advantage to speak other SEA country languages, but no need to be able to speak Korean or Japanese, good to have).

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage relationships with various stakeholders.

  • Experience in handling Media relations and Crisis communication.

  • Proficiency with communication tools and platforms, including social media and content management systems.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
