Job Description

The client is a Property development company. The IT Manager is looking for a dedicated IT Technical Support professional to join its Technical Support team, providing end-to-end technical assistance and ensuring seamless operations.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Technical Support: Provide comprehensive technical support to end-users, diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues related to MS Windows and Office 365.

  • System Maintenance: Assist in the maintenance and administration of Windows Servers, ensuring their optimal performance.

  • Network Support: Support networking tasks and address connectivity issues, leveraging your knowledge of VMware ESXi/vSphere and Veeam Backup.

  • Training and Development: Participate in on-the-job training to support complex core Cloud and Network applications, with opportunities to take on more advanced tasks after one year.

  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of technical issues and their resolutions, ensuring a well-documented knowledge base.

  • Remote Support: Utilize remote support tools to assist users and resolve issues remotely.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with other IT team members to provide seamless support and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.


Requirements

  • Experience: 3-5 years in similar role. (Candidates from IT companies are also welcome to apply).

  • Technical Skills:

    • Proficient in MS Windows and Office 365

    • Hands-on experience in diagnosing and resolving PC problems and providing end-user support

    • Experience in supporting Windows Server

    • Knowledge of networking principles and technologies

    • Familiarity with VMware ESXi/vSphere and Veeam Backup

    • Knowledge of remote support tools is a plus

  • Certifications:

    • CCNA / MCP / MCSA / MCSE certification holders are preferred, but not mandatory

  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.

  • Vendor Coordination: Coordinate with PC/Server vendors to support PC/Servers that are still under warranty, ensuring timely resolution of issues

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with end-users and team members.

  • Learning Attitude: Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and applications, with a keen interest in continuous professional development.

  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within a team and contribute to a positive work environment.
