Job Description
Overview: This Mid-Size US Cloud Systems Software vendor is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Field Sales Manager to lead their sales efforts across the Asia Pacific region. This role will be based at their regional HQ in Sydney, Australia, and will report directly to the VP of Asia Pacific (also based in Sydney) and indirectly to the Sales Director in the US. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, building strong customer relationships, and managing the sales team across the region.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy Development:Â Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market penetration across the Asia Pacific region.
Account Management:Â Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Team Leadership:Â Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team, providing guidance and support to achieve individual and team sales targets.
Market Analysis:Â Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends.
Collaborative Planning:Â Work closely with the VP of Asia Pacific and the US Sales Director to align regional sales strategies with global objectives.
Pipeline Management:Â Oversee the sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and efficient resource allocation.
Customer Engagement:Â Engage with customers through regular meetings, presentations, and industry events to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions.
Reporting and Analysis:Â Monitor and report on sales performance, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Travel:Â Willingness to travel extensively within the Asia Pacific region to meet with clients and support the sales team.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
Minimum of 7 years of experience in similar Field sales role (will also consider experienced Sales professionals with experience in combination of Direct Enterprise and/or Channel Sales skills)
Proven Sales track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in several consecutive fiscal years
On top of Australia market, good to have strong understanding of the SEA and/or Asia Pacific market and business culture
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
Demonstrated leadership and team management experience
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Willingness to travel extensively within the region
