The client is an International manufacturer of Medical testing and measurement equipment company, dedicated to improving healthcare outcomes through innovative technology and high-quality products.
Position Overview: The Supply Manager will oversee the end-to-end supply chain operations, ensuring efficient and effective management of materials, production, and distribution processes. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of supply chain management principles.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the entire supply chain value stream, from procurement to delivery, ensuring timely and cost-effective operations.
Implement and maintain continuous improvement methodologies (LEAN, Six Sigma) to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
Develop and execute supply chain strategies that align with business goals and objectives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, production, and logistics, to optimize supply chain processes.
Monitor and analyze supply chain performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards, including ISO9001, ISO13485, and FDA regulations.
Lead and mentor a small and effective team of supply chain professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Manage inventory levels to minimize excess and obsolescence while ensuring adequate supply to meet production demands.
Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers and vendors to ensure reliable and cost-effective sourcing of materials.
Oversee the implementation of supply chain software and tools to improve efficiency and data accuracy.
Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business Administration, or a related field. An MBA is a plus (NOT a must)
10 to 15+ years of direct experience in end-to-end supply chain management. Good to have previous experience working in industrial or engineering type manufacturer environment
Certification in APICS CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management) is highly desirable.
Proven experience with continuous improvement methodologies (LEAN, Six Sigma) and a practical process improvement mentality.
Strong knowledge of Quote to Order to Cash platforms and supply chain software.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards for medical device manufacturing.
